The Great Return March in pictures

Protesters demonstrate at The Great Return March along the Israel-Gaza borders, demanding the right to return to their homeland. The march was launched on March 30, on “Land Day”, and is expected to continue until May 15, culminating on “Nakba Day” which marks 70 years since Palestinians were forcibly displaced from their homeland in 1948 during the creation of Israel. Firstly, thanks for reading this article!

The Turban Times is a completely independent magazine, run by bloggers and journalists who believe strongly in the importance of the stories that we publish.

If our readers chipped in occasionally, with what they can afford, we would be able to continue telling important stories from the Middle East and North Africa region – and you would ultimately keep us financially and editorially independent.
